We know that weddings can become a very costly process. so we have listed a few options to help take some of that burden away!
1- Trimming the guest list
This is one way to save money on your wedding, the smaller the guest list the less you will spend on other things like invitations, food & drinks and the venue.
Get creative, you could do a BYOB (depending upon venue and wedding style), serve one or two specific drinks (beer/wine) or have a specialty drink in unique decanters or fun shaped glasses.
3-Skim Flower Girl bouquets
We all know these flowers tend to go to waste, so try going with something different. Sparklers and balloons are becoming more and more popular these days.
4-Order a two tiered cake
This way you can have one to cut at the reception and one to save for your 1 year anniversary. If you have cut the guest list down already there is no need for a third layer. Obviously we understand that this does depend on the actual amount of guests to begin with.
5-The paper at your wedding
Go for the non-personalized napkins and have your invitations digitally printed instead. both options could save you a great deal of money!
We are sure there are many other ways of saving money during the process of planning your BIG day, so do a little brainstorming and see what you can come up with! Every little bit helps and counts!
